Job Description

SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary depending on skills and experience 

WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday between the hours of 9am – 5:30pm – will consider part time or full time.

THE COMPANY: We are a successful chain of family entertainment complexes based in Skegness, Lincolnshire.

THE ROLE: This role will include a varied mix of finance duties and other office duties. 

Key Responsibilities of an Accounting Assistant to include:-

• Nominal Ledger
• Purchase Ledger – checking Delivery Notes, coding Invoices and entering onto our Opera Accounting System
• VAT


THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have AAT qualifications and/or previous experience within a similar role or environment and is willing to adapt to new systems., although we would consider a person with some accounts office experience who is eager to learn and a desire to train within accounts. The successful Accounting Assistant will be an organised individual with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Key experience essential for the role of Accounting Assistant based in Skegness:

• AAT qualifications are desirable but previous experience within an accounting environment essential.
• Experience with Payroll, Nominal Ledger and Purchase Ledger is desirable
• Any experience with VAT or Opera accounting software would be highly desirable.
