Job Description

Summary

Required for 16 hours per week. Here at McColls we pride ourselves on being UK market leaders in neighbourhood retailing. Our continued success depends entirely on the dedication of our Store teams. As a Supervisor you will support the Store Manager with all the daily tasks that are involved in running a busy store. A key part of your role will be to ensure that our customers receive the first class customer service that they have come to expect every time they visit one of our stores. It is also about talking to customers promoting various products through active selling. (*Please do not worry we will train you to do this*). Other responsibilities, include opening and closing the store, staff management, till and cash operation, stock control, merchandising and maintaining a clean and well-presented store at all times. It is a varied and challenging role and we are seeking customer focussed individuals with excellent leadership and communication skills along with a hands on approach. You will also need to be numerate with basic computer literacy and a flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to work early mornings and some late nights. This role offers full training and the opportunity to progress and develop your career within a fast paced retail environment.
