Job Description

The business has enjoyed success over the years and has undertaken a review of their structure and as a result have created a new role of Financial Controller.

Managing a team of finance and non-finance personnel, the objective of the post is to manage business risk whilst providing a high level of financial support to senior management with the aim of increasing profitability and efficiency.

Tasks will include, but not limited to:

Timely production of the group financial reporting for part of the business
Treasury management
Quarterly forecasting for payroll and overheads
Preparation of weekly reports
Managing purchase ledger and payroll department
Monthly financial reviews, including variance analysis, KPI reporting
Development, implementation and monitoring of robust procedures and processes.

To apply you must hold a professional qualification (ie ACA, ACCA, ACMA) and demonstrate business partnering experience with heads outside of finance. You will have excellent Excel, staff management experience an advantage but not essential.
