The Chuckling Cheese Company is in its 5th year of operating, it was founded by its two current Directors Emma Smith & Stuart Colclough in 2012. The business was incorporated in February 2015.
Our cheese team travels all over the country selling the cheese & chutney our family produces at Lymn Bank Farm. The teams go as far afield as Scotland, Cornwall & Northern Ireland attending a variety of events including Good Food Shows, Chilli Festivals, Country Shows & many more…..

“I worked for my family at Lymn Bank Farm helping to make the cheese through the week and travel all over the Country selling the product on weekends at shows & events. It was hard work but very satisfying when hearing the customer’s reactions as they tried this amazing product.
Now I run my own Company and deal with the promotional side of getting the product out there and known locally & nationally. I love all aspects of my job from the organising, paperwork, traveling, interacting with customers and our new shops. We are very surprised how quickly our Company has grown and can’t wait to see what we do next.”

“When we started our Company I never thought we would be where we are today. I have been doing shows for 10 years now so have a lot of experience in this area. Within the Company one of my jobs is to organise our show calendar, we do between 300-400 events per year, so our cheese team need to know where they will be going next.
Since opening our first shop in the Hildreds Centre this has been a real challenge as it is completely different to how we sell at shows. We are looking forward to targeting different times of the year, adding more unique products & gifts and creating new flavours of cheese to keep our shop different to any other.
The most satisfying part of this job is still hearing people’s reactions when trying our products.”
